Bruhhhhh,I still have this problem even after the hotfix. The button combo doesn't work and I have become fed up of uninstalling and reinstalling. Its come to point where whenever i tell my dad I have to do a download he says "Minecraft??" and I have nothing to reply with.
I feel like digital version in this case makes to much more worse as you have to uninstall and wait for a 2 and half gb download unlike the cd . But still very serious as an entire platform cant play the game
I think I may have found a way to at least prevent if not fix the issue. For anyone who has reinstalled and has it working right now do not instantly close after you save the world or while you are in the world. Once you save your world that you were playing on go to the main screen(the page with the microsoft store,Editions,settings and profile) from there only close the application or switch to a different application. I think it might be because of the way the game saves and closes. So far this has worked for me. Check and see if it works for you guys as well.
