I tried going through the nether portal again on my own world and it was normal i will ask my friend to go back on his world so i can test it but he is asleep right now so i will when he wakes up.

I cannot add a screen shot i tried on xbox and my phone but I couldnt figure out how and I do not have a computer yet but I was not using a texture pack for any of my bug reports.

So having the server hang (potentially indefinitely if I turn watchdog off) when someone logs in isn't a bug?

I can't really agree that this is a dupe of MC-63590 as this occurs when a user logs in and is just being masked by the watchdog; the watchdog isn't the cause of the issue.
