Same issue. iOS 10.3.3 backed-up to macOS 10.15.
My 9-year-old doesn't understand and is very disappointed. Update soon with a fix, please.
Just updated to 1.13.1 and it's still crashing. Restarted the iPad, made sure everything else was swiped away/quit and it still crashes. My 9-year-old is devastated. Don't you test your products before release?!
