Over a month an a half later, my sever has been in daily use, but my chests and furnace remain invisible and non functional. The recent update (1.14.60) did not fix anything. Another player on the sever had the same issue, broke the glitched chests, and the content previously inside did not drop.
One of the key components of a game like Minecraft is the ability to store items. Without confidence that the game will keep these items secure, player will loose the motivation to spend hours working to acquire them.

This is a priority bug.

I've the same issue.  Chests that I've placed on a shared Bedrock server are invisible (only outline shown) and inaccessible. Furnaces I've placed are visible but cannot be used.
Chests and furnaces placed by other users are functioning correctly.

Restarting the server had no effect.
Toggling various Video settings had no effect.

I really hope that all of my supplies are not gone.
