So lucky for finding this bug soon enough for me to permanently banned Ender Pearl out of my survival world. At least until I can fix it. My world doesn't use chest lock. 

No, it's not a duplicate, in both the meaning and the title itself told why the hopper doesn't stop transmission vertically, my title said why the hopper works that way.

That's technically a rail's function itself, stop spamming a problem that someone would never complain it
