This video shows the pressure plate issue.
This video shows Block Lag, which is one of the biggest issues on the server.
This is not my video, but was a video posted to the Bedrock Addons Discord on April 21st 2025 and was seen directly by a Mojangster.
Check if you're updating correctly. When you update, you should download the new .zip file, unzip it, and then copy your:
worlds directory
allowlist.json
permissions.json
server.properties
That ensures you get all the correct definitions and feature files
I seem to be having the same issue, however I don't get any crash logs. Just a message that says "Killed" and nothing else.
The issue has been fixed. I tried reloading one of my backups, and then it randomly fixed itself back to normal.
This bug still persists even in the 1.17.2 Hotfix.
What I have noticed so far, is similar to what silentwisperer commented.
Blocks reappear whenever:
Your unbreaking enchantment goes off at the same time as you break a block
Your mending enchantment goes off at the same time as you break a block
You pick up a block at the same time as you break a block
You gain experience at the same time as you break a block
You break sand as another sand block is falling (gravel too)
This only happens on realms from what I have seen.
Basically, the cause of the blocks reappearing is that whenever 2 things happen at once, the game just doesn't want to accept it. This could be because of ticks, and the limited ticks that realms has? If that's the case, then it could also explain why there sometimes is random blocklag, since there's multiple people playing at once it isn't difficult to have 2 players do something that causes a block update or something like that at the same time. I honestly have no ideas as to how to fix it, other than maybe looking at how Java edition does it?
I have had this issue since 1.16.200, now it’s 1.17.2 and it persists. It only is present on one of my realms menus too…
This was an earlier attempt of me trying to catch the pressure plate issue, but I caught the game freezing.
I was the only one on the server, CPU usage at that time was 9%, but yet you can see the door does not open and the entities are frozen for a little while before continuing their movement
