im not sure if there's some other issue causing lag for others, but for me it seems like large amounts of villagers are the only thing thats giving any lag. jobless villagers dont seem to cause as much lag, but they still cause a bit of it when going to a bed from it being night or ringing a bell.
idk if hardware has anything to do with this lag, but i need a fair amount of villagers (about 20+ or more) before any sort of noticeable lag starts, and its only when a villager is pathfinding to something.
oh and i only get this lag when near the villagers. both on a survival world and this creative world that im testing on, walking away from them causes the lag to go away when the game finally catches up.
had this happen in a world with a ton of villagers in one area. just tested it in creative and i was able to slow the game down after spawning a ton of villagers and giving them jobs. and the game became unplayable after placing and ringing a bell.
