MCPE-155708 Issue Uploading Data to Xbox Network Duplicate

Comments

It is a separate issue. Issue MCPE-105424 shows that the world data is being uploaded to the Xbox Network (cloud) from the first console and downloaded from the cloud to the second console (although I understand it isn't fully accessible on the second console). Game data is uploaded/downloaded between consoles.

The issue in MCPE-155708 is that the world data is not uploading to the cloud from the original Xbox One, as I mentioned in my initial description. The world data is stuck on the original Xbox One, and there's no way for me to upload it to the cloud or an external storage device. Issue MCPE-105424 shows the world data is being uploaded/downloaded to/from the cloud, issue MCPE-155708 shows the world data is not being uploaded to the cloud. Subtle differences.

I understand the need to reproduce bugs in order the fix them. And I've tried to reproduce it and I cannot. This specific world data is not uploading to the cloud. It is a sizable survival world at more than 500MB. If I was able to download the game data on an external storage device, I would. But you cannot do that on Xbox to my knowledge, only games and apps can be put onto an external storage device.

To whom it may concern:

I've reported issue MCPE-155708, which has been marked as a duplicate of this issue (MCPE-105424). I disagree with this decision as there are subtle and nuanced differences between the two issues. Issue MCPE-155708 speaks to the issue of being unable to sync worlds between consoles, whereas issue MCPE-105424 speaks to the issue of accessing and playing on worlds that have synced between consoles (edit: I understand that although they've seemingly synced, it may not have fully synced which is creating problems). Issue MCPE-155708 comes before issue MCPE-105424, as MCPE-105424 is able to sync worlds between consoles whereas MCPE-155708 prevents the syncing of worlds between consoles.

If a mod could remove the duplicate mark on issue MCPE-155708 and simply link it to this issue, that would be ideal.

I’ve read issue MCPE-105424 and there are subtle differences between this ticket and that one. Issue MCPE-105424 speaks of an issue where the synced world is corrupted and unplayable on another console. My issue precedes that as I’m unable to sync the world between consoles. Issue MCPE-105424 is able to sync the world across consoles, whereas issue MCPE-155708 shows there’s a problem with syncing a world across consoles. This issue should not be marked duplicate.

Hello Bartłomiej Słodkowski,

Thank you for your response. This issue persists on the current versions of the game, as I have now updated.

Is there any reason why there's been no response for over 90 days? This issue has ruined my interest in playing the game at all, as I only launch the game and try to sync it from time to time. A time frame on a response would be appreciated, instead of being left with no idea when I'll get a response.
