Worlds not syncing between Xbox One and Xbox Series X

Worlds created and saved on Xbox One appear to have synced to Xbox Series X, but when attempting to play or edit world, I receive an error message. This message reports that the save may be corrupted and to try to load the world on the device on which the world was previously known to work. Is there an easy fix for this issue, and if not, will there be a fix in the future?

None of my saves from the last 8 months have synced only older saves that are not playable as they say they are corrupt or didn't sync properly

IS this an ongoing issue in the latest version? If so, do you have more details about the error message you have received?

If you have a copy of the world available, you might like to upload a copy of it for investigation.

  • On Windows 10 you can use the Export world feature.

  • On Android or iOS you need to use a file explorer to navigate to Device storage > games > com.mojang > minecraftWorlds

  • On Xbox or Switch the only way is to upload it to a Realm, and then download the world on Windows 10 or Android/iOS. (Please do not purchase a Realms subscription just to provide a world to us - but if you have a Realm already this may be a viable option if you wish to do so.)

If the world is larger than 10MB you can upload the world to OneDrive or a similar file sharing site, and then share the link.

To whom it may concern:

I've reported issue MCPE-155708, which has been marked as a duplicate of this issue (MCPE-105424). I disagree with this decision as there are subtle and nuanced differences between the two issues. Issue MCPE-155708 speaks to the issue of being unable to sync worlds between consoles, whereas issue MCPE-105424 speaks to the issue of accessing and playing on worlds that have synced between consoles (edit: I understand that although they've seemingly synced, it may not have fully synced which is creating problems). Issue MCPE-155708 comes before issue MCPE-105424, as MCPE-105424 is able to sync worlds between consoles whereas MCPE-155708 prevents the syncing of worlds between consoles.

If a mod could remove the duplicate mark on issue MCPE-155708 and simply link it to this issue, that would be ideal.
