You're welcome, hope you enjoy playing on the 1650!

This article should also help, if none of the other methods work.
If the NVIDIA Control Panel says that the 1650 is not connected to the displays, then I suggest the BIOS option. This solution will only have the 1650 output to your external displays, though,(and this is also assuming that it will really work on that kind of laptop)so if you don't have an external display you like to run Minecraft out of, like me, then the situation is probably out of the realm of my epertise.
Have you tried going into NVIDIA control panel, and changing the preferred processor that way?
Otherwise, you may need to have your laptop boot into BIOS and switch the preferred processor that way.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago, where my external displays wouldn't run on my NVIDIA Quadro, but the BIOS solution fixed it nicely.
Also, depending on your particular computer, you should be able to go into the BIOS and force the computer to use the dedicated GPU. I have done this in the past with my laptop. What kind of computer/GPU are you using?
Ok, can confirm that this was not a bug and that I was just being dumb with the NVIDIA control panel settings.
MC-234358 does seem to have the same viewing distance as I do, but that only happens with certain blocks, not all of them. with this, it happens with all of the blocks beyond about 16 meters away.
the game isn't modified... I'll check the drivers, but as far as I know, it was working fine until now. I'll see if it happens on multiple computers as well, but yes, the graphics drivers are my suspicion.
I've had similar issues downgrading worlds to 1.20.4 from 1.20.5 snapshots, where because of the new tag system that was already implemented into the world, every item in the world disappeared. I suppose something similar could happen if you were upgrading the world from 1.20.4 to the latest versions, but it seems unlikely.
