I think this is the same issue as is reported in REALMS-1118. If so, you should give it a vote so the mods might get to it quicker. Anyway, lots of people (me included) seem to have the same issue so you're probably right in saying that this is Mojang's responsibility to fix. Let's hope they fix it soon.
