what i mean is i'm no-longer having the problem
i feel silly now, i remembered clearly that i could create the golem but i wasn't getting the achievement for doing so...

single player, but somehow it has fixed itself?
i haven't got the achievement at all, the world has always been survival without cheats enabled at any time. i have got other achievements in this world but can't get this one!
