Having exactly the same issue... no possibility to renew old realms, can't make another, and if I can see the store, I can't buy anything.
CA MARCHE !!! it's now OK for me : a new dialog box ask to me to connect to Microsoft store. From that moment on I was able to connect to the store as well as renew my realms subscription.
