Same issue - iPad mini. I click on the Minecraft Pocket Edition, it opens to "Mojang" logo, then a white screen, then a stone "Minecraft" logo and then it crashes, back to home screen - except it's still running in the background, and if you click it - it does the same exact thing. This is my son's game, and he would rather not lose his worlds that him, his brother and dad worked to build.
