Ok, so it is clear my server ran out of space. So the question now is this.
An instance of the server is running right now. I can connect to it and it sees the house i built and all my chests and farms and such. If I halt the instance, will this all disappear? There appears to be no files inside the world directory, so things are not being saved. Every time I connect I start again and am at my initial spawn point.
I can get the seed for my world, but that will not get me the stuff I have built, will it?
Does the running instance of the server have only the current chunk in memory? Can I send a signal to the process which will tell it to dump its current in-memory world to disk? Will it do it if I send it a TERM signal? There is enough disk space, so if it tries to save, it will be able to.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanx.
Is it possible that my servers disks being full caused this? They are not full, but they are at 98%. Perhaps they go full and the server destroyed itself? Any ideas?
Ah, sorry. Seed is 3566000633837337338.
