The deletion worked. Although the system is working again, the hard work and efforts that my son put into terraforming several worlds and experiments with redstone is now no more.

This may not be a problem for other users. It would be nice if selective deletes or ways to compress/archive these works.

The data checking tool that was on the switch did not mention or do anything to help us, which saddened us more.  I am glad the device is working. The question still remains, the symptom is gone, does the problem still exist?

I would like an answer to this, if possible.

Thanks for the assist, and I hope Nintendo is monitoring this thread to provide guidance.

Hello, I am reporting this issue as well. Will provide the statistics on our device. Are there any recommendations to address the issue?  If deleting local data is a solutions we may consider it.
