As explained in the video, this setup marks the location of a spawned mob by replacing the block underneath with an orange block. The mob is the then killed allowing more mob spawns.
The expected results are displayed in the video for each simulation distance. The range should be increasing as the selected simulation increases. The observed results was the simulation distance for a 4 chunk simulation distance (as seen in the video) regardless of the selected simulation distance
