Death sounds were nonexistent. Then game glitches out, I’m stuck spiraling underwater at night and drown, game completely unresponsive to controller input until after game was closed.

Issue persists in 1.20.51, on my realm. I suffocate before the loading screen finishes. And end up seeing my stuff scattered in an empty field, as if I simply suffocated in the portal itself. Peaceful mode and everything, and I still have no chance. Good to know this bug is months old and hasn’t been fixed.
Edit: further bug research shows this issue isn’t just on the, but YEARS old. Yeah, I doubt it’s getting fixed any time soon at this rate despite it being a borderline playability issue.
Because of this, I’ve built a wall around the village and locked the 2 remaining villagers in a house. They refuse to reproduce though.
So I’m having this issue on my realms repeatedly and it’s nice to know that the issue is literal years old and isn’t fixed. Just great.
