The issue is still persisting. My game gets stuck at 30% loading.
Closing the runtime broker before the perpetual loading crashes my game does allow the game to load.
Seems to also happen with food. I was consuming a golden apple, then swapped to my sword using the number key(1). Netherite sword was changed into the multiple golden apples i was eating.
It's very finicky on the timing. But it seems to happen with items that have right-click function(consumable/interactible).
Offline, single player, no cheats. Windows editon.
