I think the mods gave up on this. >.> I used the same exact directory as the 1.6.4 server was in. Had no problems until 1.7.2 came around.

No response yet... Makes me think that something is wrong :/ Anyway, I'll just hope bukkit is not the same way.

I just ended the task through task manager, I wasn't going to wait for it to close.

BOTH servers have permission to create a file in each of the server's folders. Heres a plus, they both generate worlds and they both create the proper stuff. I can change the submission ticket to the new problem that arose.

To experiment, I opened the jar file of the server and it STILL does do the problem above. Ah soo many problems.

Ask and I will try to give you it. Now since the server start up system works (now it creates the files but doesn't work and my rig still gets the message spamming above.), I can now check into logs and send them to you guys.

Then again, this is a custom computer built by me. It works on my servers, just not on my gaming rig. I'll try reinstalling java, but I bet java isn't the problem. Shane, yours is more descriptive cause mine tries doing it instantly. If you didn't know, I have a 4.3 GHz 8-core, so its probably trying to do it faster. I'll let you know if it works, and I am uploading a video to youtube showing what I did.

I updated Java (the version above is what I was using it) And this is what I got. (I used the 1.7.2 server exe)

I opened it, it runs fine, no spam, but the thing is, nothing shows up. Even on my server (server computer) The log doesn't say anything. I tried joining the server and I got (see "Cclient 1.7.2" attachment). Now this is bad cause I host servers for my friends to play on. I am going to attach BOTH the server comp's log and my rig's log. Rig's log filename: (rig log) Server's log filename: (server log) NOTE: I just renamed them accordingly to what computer they were used on. They're both LATEST LOGS from each server.

I am going to try 1.7.2 as its a new update. It crashes even before it can create a log. It just opens and just sits there spamming the message. It just doesn't create anything at all. The server file just sits there as I said. I'll take a video and show you, if I cannot attach it as a file, I'll upload it to youtube.

The logfile above is one from when it actually started properly the first time, but crashed after generating the map. I'll do another snippet...

I've deleted my old log to see if a new one appeared and not a single one did. Just give me instructions and I will try my best to do it.

I need further details on how. I am not that much of a computer geek. I attached the log file (latest.log). But, what is the comnsole (not be rude if its a mispelling). I'll attach a screenshot of the server folder.

I really didn't try connect because it pretty much froze Java on my computer. It spams what is in the picture, and it is impossible to close without ending the process in task manager.
