Hi,

I had the same problem, but the workaround specified by user AlphaRomeo worked for me.

I changed the graphics settings for minecraft to use Intel HD graphics instead of AMD graphics.

It is working now.

I also got the same issue. After the minecraft update to 1.16.200 , I got the same red background screen. It did'nt offer me even the login screen to join. I tried all the windows update nothing happened. After checking all recent updates, I removed the recent Adobe Security Update then i got the screen to login and manage to create world. However i then get the issue with the GUI texture. It is completely messed up, everything going like string cheese . Any help?
