I'm facing similar issue! I have internet connection of 60Mbps and when I was connected to Ethernet, the download speed was around 2Mbps. But when I switched to WiFi the download speed increased to 40Mbps. I don't know how is it possible but it works.
I have desktop with "linux mint 20.2" OS and "windows 10" OS. Both had the same issue while downloading.
