Still present in 1.14.4 release.
Ah, so much anger over one little bug. To add my opinion, I would like the bug declared "Works as Intended" the way quasi-connectivity was. To address Meri's concerns, I am a technical player with no YouTube channel, so I have no reason to promote this bug other than for my own enjoyment. Yes, some contraptions like crushers are broken, but other simple crusher designs have been created, some of which are even enabled by this bug. Converting existing farms from one design to another would, for me, be only a minor inconvenience. I consider the bug useful, but not overpowered the way duplication glitches are. It merely adds an alternative form of transportation, which, in the case of mob elevators, takes more time and resources to build but is faster and more predictable than a simple water stream or minecarts. I wouldn't be heartbroken if it were removed, but I'd like it to stay. Regardless, I think the developers should make the decision soon, so people don't get used to it only for it to be taken away. The concern about resentment toward the developers is very real.
Not the same. MC 108 (the one responsible for many BUD mechanics) doesn't account for all the behavior here. The dropper operates fine when the red wool is powered. It's only when both the red wool is powered and the redstone wire is in certain orientations that the dropper doesn't activate.
It looks like golems are spawning on rails too, but possibly aren't spawning in running water. I built an iron farm, and they're only spawning in one specific 1x2 spot which isn't on the spawn platforms. Not sure if this is a separate issue or a related one.
Affects 1.9 pre-4. Entities in minecarts are often quite offset from the center of the minecarts, and the minecarts are sometimes offset from the rail, especially after turning around sharp corners.
Bug still present in 1.9 pre-4. I've had a lot of villagers die or escape from this bug. It needs fixing.
I just looked it up on the wiki. They changed the recipe for weakness potions since the last time I used them. No bug.
I've experienced this bug, resulting in both item loss and item duplication. What's strange is that it's not always consistent. When I tested the bug with two different items, I was able to duplication one item by removing it from the chest, logging out, then logging back in again, but not the other. It might be the case that the item that was successfully duplicated had been there before the update, while the other item was not. I'm not sure though.
