I didn't look at that part. I was mostly looking at the top part which says it affects version(s) 1.14. I guess I'll take my pictures off because they are actually irrelevant.

I added a few picture where torches were involved. This happened on a 1.14 server and would reoccur every time I logged in.

Sadly this was not just a visual bug because this caused mobs to spawn. For example, I had four creepers spawn inside my village which obviously did not get taken care of by my iron golems. This bug also allowed several skeletons to spawn underwater inside my kelp farm, for some reason.
