Same issue here; game crashed in split screen session for two local players, now it won't start.
It's stuck on the red MOJANG STUDIOS screen.
Before the crash one of the players was using the new emoji functionality, and was browsing through skins.
We have disc version.
After upgrading to 2.08 this happened again. Reinstall method works, but it's highly irritating... It seems that the app crashes when skins in the minecraft store are browsed or when playing games from the store.
One of the error codes was CE-34878-0, all errors were submitted using the PS4 function for that,
It's disc bedrock version.
