I watched the video for MC-54546 and it is the same just without the block

yea it's just a tiny flicker of no texture for a second even in the new world.

Okay, I'm still seeing it in 15w45a. Maybe this is just a client side problem? I'm going to try and replicate it in a new world.

So the glitch is fixed in snapshot 15w44b? I can check in about a week whether or not it's fixed on my side.

It seems as though the block disappears, because the hitbox goes through the piston. I uploaded a screenshot, also it reappears pretty fast.

I am pretty sure this is an intended feature of the game. If you re-spawn the ender dragon after defeating it, the ender crystals won't re-spawn.

Reloading textures doesn't work if that helps.
