I can confirm. We have Bedrock Realm for 10 players. We have played by 2 admins and noticed frequent lag that can be severe. Makes Iron Golems walk like robots and redstone devices like redstone clock work slow.
No lag on our Realm before Nether Update.
Can confirm this is an issue on our Bedrock Realm also. Nice to have Creeper suddenly next to you in your base that you have worked for over a year and it explodes destroying your fancy autostorage system 🙂
