fletcher who I had maxed out for arrows of healing decided to become a fisherman at a nearby barrel as soon as I chopped his fletching table (so I could move him to another area)
another villager traded job types after having traded with me at least once.
Once we trade with a villager, isn’t that supposed to ‘lock in’ their job type?
nintendo switch ver 11.0.1
bedrock ver 1.16.201
@seth peek Agreed! I learned last night placing boats is a great way to make the villagers appear. I have also placed the beds up in the rafters which forces villagers to stand through the night.
Nintendo switch w/ bedrock v.1.16.1
Similar problem. Normally play in peaceful mode but switch to normal or hard when farming creepers and or golems. Farms have worked amazing until recently. Even if I go and return through a nether portal, creepers & golems are not spawning.
Nintendo switch 10.2.0
minecraft version 1.16.101
Entered villager breeding area where I knew I had left three adults and at least one child. Nothing visible. After breaking all the beds and replacing them, two adult villagers appeared. I tossed carrots and one visible adult had a child with evidently another invisible adult. Hearts only appeared over visible adult villager. Repeated and now have 3 kids. Soooo frustrating to play like this 😞
Nintendo switch, single player, non-realm. Created new world to enjoy features in 1.17 and have experienced this issue at least twice. (Was a problem on my old world as well! ) Seems to occur after lengthy gameplay. Interesting that bees did not despawn each time this happened. Boats holding mobs that disappear also disappear. The issue does not occur until I have a large number of mobs in my main play area (Corral of horses, pen of cows, 10 cats, 20 villagers, 6 chickens, 16+ sheep, 2 boated pillagers. Can the game just not keep track of so many interacted mobs? Very frustrating too that ALL local mine carts disappear when mobs disappear. I love Minecraft but playing a game should be FUN, not frustrating work . . . (rebuilding librarians with great trades etc etc) The “New/ Improved” features of 1.17 do not make up for the ongoing bugs. I find myself playing other games more and more.
