Even with the 1.18.1.02 update I am still getting 1.17.4.1 instead. Very discouraging and annoying

I have this exact same problem on my Samsung galaxy s20 5g using the Amazon app store. Everything has been updated to most recent available and minecraft version is still 1.17. I have tried deleting apps and reinstall and has not changed anything

I have searched a lot of different seeds and still have not found bees or hives naturally spawned after 1.16 update. If the percentage changed I definitely feel it is far below 5% in the worlds I checked out
