I am getting this issue in 1.16.3. Warped Nether Pressure plate getting stuck for me

Is there anyway to resolve this as this is happening to me too?

I reset some chunks in the nether for 1.16 so I can get the new terrain close by but now my portal is sending me to a location that used to be a nether portal.

@Philipp Provenzano, I gotcha! I did not realize there were multiple causes, that makes sense.

I do really hope that Mojang can figure this out as this is a rather severe bug.

So severe on my server, almost makes it unplayable 😞

Tried Paper 1.16.1 and that did not work sadly. (Specs of our computers are really good so that is not an issue.)

Also tried Phil's mods but that sadly did not work either.

I am using the latest snapshot and this is still not resolved. 20w18a. For me the maps still show stone on them.

I and my server members having been having this issue between the last two snapshots. 20w16a and 20w17a.

It is causing severe lag when going between chunks, and seemingly when the chunks have redstone between them. It is not making it enjoyable 😞
