I have the same issue. My PS5 is at home in the UK.
In France it is rainy and my son would like to play Minecraft bedrock which is not available on his MacBook. so he only has remote play to the PS5 to play but this bug basically ruins the experience.
It must be a trivial thing to fix could be a quick win.
