I tried signing out of my account, nothing… I then signed back in and still nothing…
Also, with the file locations there is no 'minecraftWorlds' folder in the 'Shared' folder? Only the Id folder…
The following is C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData/Roaming/MinecraftBedrock/Users/Shared/games/com.mojang
And this is C:\Users/<UserName>\AppData/Roaming/MinecraftBedrock/Users/<ID>/games/com.mojang
Every file is empty, with the exception of the 'minecraftpe' folder…

Not a single file was copied or moved to the new file location, the worlds, resource pack, and behavior pack folders are all empty…
Also the old location is gone, doesn’t exist anymore… A new one was made after the update installed, in all caps? So instead of “Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe” Its now “MICROSOFT.MINECRAFTUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe“

All my files are gone…
At this point, I’ve excepted I’ll never get my files back. However I just want to know what happened? Like, they just vanished completely?
No I did not ‘uninstall' the game.
I’m pretty sure I was in 1.20.113? Or whichever the previous auto update available was. The game usually updates on its own. I would just open the game and the new version would already be updated… Which is why this “update“ if you can even call it that, was unexpected.
I wasn’t ever 'prompted' to update the game. I had to open the microsoft store and “check for updates“ which found the update and immidiately starting updating…
