I've just had a similar issue on my single player world.
Brand new world in 1.17 java, created a honey farm in the spawn chunks, my base is just a couple of chunks away, just outside the spawn chunks.
The farm was active and working for a couple of ingame weeks but I never went far from my base.
Then I went exploring for 4-6 ingame days and when I came back there weren't any bees at all in my hives, it's 8 hives with 3 bees each. They ahve to have disappear as soon as I left because the collection system was empty and I collected just before leaving.
I'm using optifine with fabric and can't provide any F3 screen while the issue is occurring because it happened when I was away. I since added bees back, I'll try to get more data if they disappear again.
I have this exact same issue with my old world that I upgraded to 1.16 pre 5
It happens with farmland a lot and a bit with path and it's random except when you come up at least one set of stairs into a path, then you'll be stuck on top of the stair as if there was an invisible wall and have to jump forward to get unstuck every single time.
This is happening in my village near spawn that I've playing in since 1.14 and converted to 1.15 and now 1.16 pre 5 and all path and farmland have been made by me.
I created a new world in the snapshot with the same seed and in the newly generated path it's even more obvious, sometimes I slide back even after I've stopped all movement and I also get randomly pushed sideways when walking on the path.
I've had the same exact issue with my 1.17 world upgrading to 1.18.1.
It's the same configuration than here, a wall of chests with item frames on front.
I have 16 rows of chests, of those only 14 have the issue the 2 rows on the left are ok. In the same room on the other side all the chests are ok.
I use MultiMC and had a save of the old 1.17 world, I re-upgraded it to 1.18.1 and even used the ingame function to optimize it before loading it but the exact same chests are bugged.
