Oh my gosh, now I noticed that pressing the shift key is correlated with placing the block xDDD
Yes, I'm sure that they don't swum up from cave, because I saw this in the far distance from the cave after the world generation.

Not allways you can see glow squid/axolot in this river after world generation, but if you go away, and you will fly again, they should spawn.
