Has any progress been made on fixing this?
I think that I have discovered some very valuable information. I attempted to follow Aban Sainz Burboa's fix using a second account. I didn't immediately find success with this as I could see the world host that was unable to load in, but couldn't interact with the player entity in anyway (Couldn't hit, give items to, or cause gravity to move the player who was stuck on the generating world screen). I finally found success when changing the simulation distance set for the world. Changing this setting and attempting to load in would sometimes result in the world loading fully. I can continue to experiment with this if the devs feel it would be helpful, it might be possible for me to figure out what exact setting changes allow this fix to work. I feel it is very important to note that I had the most luck getting back in during my testing when I lowered the simulation distance and placed my secondary account in a location close to the world host (who couldn't load in) – using this method I was able to get the world to load on the host client 3 separate times.
(Host - Windows 10)
(Secondary - iOS)
I saved and exited a game while in the Nether, upon trying to reopen the world it hangs on the "Generating World" step. Recurring issue with this world now, and it has been impossible to open the world again. Really hoping this gets fixed. (Windows 10)
Any updates on this? It has been over a year??
