This issue seems to be resolved. Drowned are now dropping all items again on my Xbox.

I have the same issue (since new update it seems) but on Xbox OneX. Drowned are not dropping any loot-gold, tridents, shells, flesh-however zombies, baby zombies and zombie villagers all drop normal loot.
