I was playing yesterday until this stupid new launcher auto updated. Is there any way I can downgrade my launcher?

yes but it allowed every other launcher to work, that can't be the problem.

Norton, also I never had this problem with the old launcher. This new one was a terrible decision and it's making me pissed.

So I have to remove my security protection for minecraft? That is absurd. I am having the same problem as this guy on windows.
