Like the note states above in the bug, it seems to affect profiles as some on my switch loads lighting fast. So wether you are at the red Mojang screen stuck at 45% or black screen, its due to loading your save data.
I have tested all the other methods (delete/archive game, reinstall, restart/power down, etc) but these methods didn't really resolve my son's profile though mine was really fast.
So I backed up save data to cloud and added a Microsoft account. Then deleted all save data (his was sitting at almost 2GB's, with only 1 world and really no resource packs enabled) deleted the game and reinstalled to system memory just in case. I was then able to access his account within maybe a minute. However, as soon as I downloaded save data that I backed previously, it went to a slow crawl again.
There is something messed up with how it loads the users save data(even though my son's account doesn't have much). Sorry if it's long.
