I actually think this ticket hasn't even been triaged by the team yet. Still hoping they would fix this.

I'm still active, and am still receiving email updates from this bug. It's just that, the bug is still there in the game, and I don't know what new information I can provide about the bug.

Dude, whatever you do, if you're using a mod pack, you won't get any support. Period. The community has already extensively covered this.

Minecraft 1.5 official release still has /say messages not showing in purple text colors.

I can't tell if this issue should be marked with "Future release - 1.5.1" for the pre-release 1.5.1, or not. As far as I know, I'm going to keep following the snapshot updates and prereleases until this issue is fixed. According to this link here, this issue is still not resolved.

That would be a feature request. It has nothing to do with this issue, which was that the loading bar once had been working before.

This has not been fixed, as of Minecraft 1.5.

I'm going to let others decide on this issue then. As mentioned, it's really easy to fix this.

The Minecraft 1.5 Pre-release still hasn't had this bug fixed yet.

As of March 6, 2013, on snapshot 13w10b, the server text is still not purple.
