I have PS4 Pro, disk version. It was updated to 1.16 two days before the game crashed during gameplay. I was stuck on the red mojang screen after restarting the game.
I tried deleting the game and reinstalled from disk. All the worlds for all users were intact, including legacy worlds. I do not have PS+ membership.
