This should NOT be marked as “working as intended” as this is a feature that’s been working fine for who knows how long. I’ve been playing with my wife on a world hosted on my Xbox, and I’ve been joining from my phone with the same profile on both. For some reason though, it’s been decided that the same profile can’t be used for this anymore, and you get the same blaze error that tells you basically nothing every time. I think it’s a terrible change that winds back years of a feature that was never broken, and it’s extremely unprofessional of everyone involved that keeps saying this issue is “working as intended” and ignoring the community. This change should really be roll back as soon as possible as it literally stops people from being able to play the game as it was always intended to be played
