We have this issue too. Minecraft was installed from the PS Store about 3❓ years ago or so and has been updated through every version update that has come out. We installed 2.07 on the 23rd and were able to play it several times but today, 26th, it's hanging on the red splash screen (waited around 10 mins). This affects both user accounts on the same PS4. Have tried putting the PS4 into rest mode and starting back up and also powering it off completely but neither helped.
