I have found out that if I want to play Minecraft on PS4 I can't play any other games because I will have to delete Minecraft and reinstall it to play Minecraft but once I have Minecraft working if all I do is play Minecraft then I have no problem but as soon as I load anything else I have to delete and reinstall Minecraft to play it.
I am on version 2.10 and I can't get past the Mojang Studios screen no matter what I do.
I have had it happen to me on the Minecraft editions disc version and the digital version of editions and digital version of bedrock. I never had a problem until the hotfix update and now it happens basically every time I try to play Minecraft and I have tried the L1-R1-L2-R2-OPTIONS-TOUCH PAD for 30 minutes and it still did nothing, just stayed on the Mojang Studios screen.
I've been having this issue ever since bedrock edition came out on the PS4 and I am still having this issue everytime I try to transfer my world it gets to about 69% and crashes I have deleted the nether and reset it on the PS4 edition to see if that made a difference it only transfers to 73% and then it crashes the hotfix that came out today (July 8th 2020) makes it where I can't exit Minecraft or shut off the PlayStation 4 once it crash
I have had this problem several times on the disc and digital versions of the game and I have only deleted the game one because most of the time I can get it working after several times (maybe 5 to 10 times) of trying the button combo for about 5 minutes closing the game and trying again. I experience this problem after using another game or app and then when I try to play Minecraft it freezes on the red screen and I have to go through the process of button combo close game button combo close game several times before it works. I have experienced freezing on the white load screen a few times and I did the same thing to get it working. I hope this helps people who are struggling with this problem play and the devs fix it.
