I can say with confidence, that this bug has either made a comeback, or has not been fixed at all or at least not properly, I have posted a screenshot from my 20w20b world showing what happened after i left a villager breeder running for a couple of hours, the golem population is at least double that of the villagers themselves.
[media]Oh i see, never knew they were meant to hold them. thank you for the info.
I have had this issue as well, made a trading hall in my singleplayer world, my villagers always restocked without fail, and then the villagers just spontaneously stopped refreshing their trades out of the blue. It has been 30+ ingame days since the villagers last refreshed their trades, very odd. even tried using commands to get them to restock and that didn't work
Here's a link to get my world for anyone who wishes to inspect

@Harrison I haven't experienced this in singleplayer survival yet, but I have in multiplayer, mainly when visiting some of my friends' bases.
In one of them, light stopped working on a regular basis and an army of mobs would spawn inside while he was away. Also, torches in mines would frequently be off.
In another base, the edges of chunk borders had torches that would not light up adjacent chunks with no light sources.
By the way, when testing my procedure on my 1.14 (not 1.14.1) server, the light level would be broken for the server and for the client – 0 in both cases.
I might have found a way to reproduce the bug in 1.14.1.
1. Create a superflat world in peaceful difficulty, turn off mob spawning, daylight cycle and then set the time to 20000.
2. Set your render distance to 11.
3. Stand on the ground and issue the command /fill ~50 ~ ~50 ~100 ~ ~100 torch
4. Observe the borders of the square of torches. There should be some irregular lighting patterns: some torches will give off a lighting on a circular radius as expected, but some or most of the lighting will be cut off abruptly in the shape of a rectangle. Stand on the illuminated side of said rectangle and compare the light level to the outside, there should be an abrupt variation. This means the torches are not giving out light like they should.
Notes:
i) If this doesn't reproduce the issue on the first try, try teleporting yourself 10000 blocks away or so
ii) I do not know whether steps 1 and 2 are necessary, I just included them because my process succeeded with the settings described
iii) If you get the "That position is not loaded" error message, take a few steps towards positive X and positive Z
Ahh ok, thank you for notifying me 🙂
I noticed this issue with my iron farm as well, getting awful iron drop rates since upgrading to pre-release 8
Ah ok, thanks for notifying me.
I noticed this as well, I have a completely enclosed area for my bees and they keep vanishing, I know I had 3 bees in all my hives but they just keep disappearing. It is a nuisance.
