Still a thing in 26.2. snap-2, def works as intended at this point surely? happened with the rest of the transparent changes in 19w13a (1.14) with similar blocks like glass

Still effects 26.1, I have created a statistic file showcasing all technical block stats I could think of. To view it game rename it to your player name and the datafixer will change it accordingly.

Interestingly some variants statistics (specifically, heads, banners, coral fans, signs, hanging signs, dripleaf, cauldrons and torches) do make that block’s stats visual though without incrementing its corresponding stat.

This was fixed 1.21-pre1 with the new portal changes and work presently (26.1).
