I don't understand what you are saying but I did experience a glitch related to this topic
To reproduce
1.put the middle snow block first.
2. then put the pumpkin on top of that.
3. Then put a snow block below
Creates no golem, however this is not the glitch. Now place a jack o lantern so that is no more than 2 blocks away and so it is north west of your current golem statue. A random golem should appear randomly from the snow golem statue you built.
Actually with the size you showed this would be very expected as there are 180 possible iron in one chunk, since the sizes are huge perhaps you got lucky and found a clump. You should also take in account that if they accord next to other chunks there will obviously be a large amount.
This is far more than just a problem with those dashes on the third line, letters can be messed, slowly type the alphabet on that line, and you will see what I mean.
