I have this happening with my game on the switch too… I try to join any one of my worlds it won't let me and says that I don't have a pack that is used in the world or something like that, problem I don't have a pack on that world. and when I try to create a new world it just doesn’t let me if I select creative mode it says “are you sure?” and when I say yes it does nothing… when I change it back to servival it now then says the same thing with out giving me a reason for why I shouldn't… I just want to imprison baby chickens in a small container and forcefully making them stay babies permanently :.(
