I never dyed my wolves collars and they still disappear. The most weird part is that they disappear all at the same time.

Weird, in my old single players maps, and the servers i joined in that time, i always used the compass to guide me back to my house when i had a bed, maybe the compass pointing to the player spawnpoint was a bug them. But imo, it's useless if it point to the world spawnpoint.

I remember when i played in the earlier versions of Minecraft, the compass always pointed to my respawnpoint, and it pointed to my bed when i sleep on it, i remember because i used it a lot to find the way back to my house when mining/exploring, and i never built a house near the spawnpoint. And when using the /spawnpoint or /spawnpoint <playername> the compass still pointing to the original spawn point.

I updated to 1.4.5 and now i spawn on my bed, the weird part is that not listed as fixed. But the compass still pointing to the original spawnpoint.

Nope, it's not been this way since it was added to the game, it pointed to your spawnpoint, and if you sleep on the bed, the bed should be your spawnpoint, and the compass always pointed to it, i know because i used it a lot, but the bed is bugged, it's not saving as your spawn point even if you sleep on it, you always will respawn in the original spawn point.

I'm in the version 1.4.4 and when i sleep in the bed my spawn point still the original, i don't spawn in the bed when i die, also sometimes got the error that the bed is obstructed when its not.

Happened to me and my girlfriend, i open to LAN to play with her, and in the third day(irl) we was mining, and when we returned all the dogs disappeared at the same time, mine and hers. We got most of the dogs in the second day(irl).
