MCPE-45876 Some players unable to eat past 8.5 drumsticks in survival world Cannot Reproduce

Sure. Can't attach, it's too large, but can link. My daughter and I captured this video June 8 2020 on Xbox One in a new world in solo play, after she did the run I transcribed above. The rate of hunger bar decline & her behaviors are similar to what I transcribed, but in this run she paused to eat something at 2:57 (at 3/10 units on the bar, changing it to 4/10) but by 3:44 decline had obviously resumed (back to 3/10) and we stopped recording.

The behavior seen through the video is representative of what she feels is wrong... on new worlds "I have to keep finding things to hunt, because just after I get into the world my food starts going down fast, but I already got all the animals in this area, and I'd have to move to a different area and find more animals right away, so I wouldn't have time to do anything else." Although she's familiar with cooking meat and making better foods, she said she didn't have to expect to do that right away in the game. She also continues to say it doesn't happen to her brother when he plays, but I haven't confirmed that.

This appears to be MCPE-25353, an issue that occurs with worlds imported/converted from the older Xbox One version of Minecraft. If that sounds right, it's fixed now, but you have to reconvert the world. It was hinted there would be a more pervasive fix that wouldn't require reconverting the world, but as of January 2020 that never happened.

My daughter reported a problem like this on the Xbox, version 1.14.60. She's played Minecraft for many years, is much more familiar with the hunger mechanics than I, and I trust her when she says something's wrong with the hunger bar recently.

The behavior she showed me is somewhat like in the Bedrock video provided by Bryan Workiewicz: upon spawn in a new world, multiplayer with her brother, for about the first minute of play her hunger bar stays full as she walks/jumps around on a grass hill (with occasional sprints) and then in the second minute the bar loses 4 of the visual units (6/10 remaining), within the next minute another 4 (2/10 remaining), and then in the 4th minute the bar depletes fully. She was mostly walking in those last 3 minutes to try to conserve.

For some reason her brother hasn't seen the same problem. Possible it's how she walk/jumps, or something attached to her account, an errant setting that she flipped and he didn't?

I can provide video if needed.

I asked her if she had auto-jump on, and she said no. (She showed me that if she walked into a block, she stopped.) She was not running up stairs when I observed the issue; this was a new world and she was on grass hills, and as I mentioned, she was mostly walking/jumping, not running.

(I would be OK with a fix that involves the player dying. It seems like certainly the food meter could be adjusted at death to be full, and completely refillable, without repercussions?)

@unknown mentioned Jan 2 2018 that a fix was coming for this that would not require reconverting the world. I take it that fix was never delivered, or still not yet? My kids and I have a long-running survival world that's had this glitch for a long time... the player who owns the world is unable to eat the last 1.5 "meats", and so cannot heal by having a full food bar.  Even after death, that player doesn't start full. The other 2 players seem to be unaffected. Version is 1.14.1.

We took a break, then build in low-pressure situations for months, before realizing this bug was occurring, so we're not interested going back and re-importing/converting the world. We started this one day one on the Xbox One version. It's been a long run. We're ready for the ender dragon now, and not being able to heal by eating makes it not impossible, but certainly a little more difficult. I'd appreciate some new attention to this.
