There is no fixing this on your own sadly to say. Theres no workaround or exploit that will allow you to bypass add-on assets being invisible on splitscreen. We have to wait for Mojang to fix the issue. I’m sure the Mod will be upset that I am repeating information but there’s been no genuine line of communication about this getting fixed and people are confused and tired.
Tried playing with my girlfriend and everytime she joined, all of our add-on related blocks turned invisible, even if she left. Please fix this. Up until this is resolved, there is absolutely no reason for anyone who plays splitscreen to buy any Add-ons off the Marketplace, as they would just end up being invisible.
Same here, I’m on PS5 and experience the same issue! Splitscreen is unplayable at the moment because of it.
My world with add-ons loads in fine, but after a minute or two everything slows down. Mobs move at a speed slower than sneaking and there is horrible input lag with attacking and placing blocks. If I try to load into any far chunks, the game will send me back to the world menu with the error code Terracotta. This has been happening for months.
